Anne Hu - Director, Editor, Writer, Actress

Anne Hu is a director, writer, editor, and actress who is currently a Senior Producer and Editor at HBO.  She has produced nationwide commercials for Miller Coors, SC Johnson, and Taco Bell.  She has also edited theatrical film trailers and television commercials for The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Virunga, Vice PrincipalsThe Young Pope and more.  Her clients include HBO, AMC, Starz, Fox Home Entertainment, Netflix, and StudioCanal.  Her trailers have been showcased on IMDB, Slashfilm, Indiewire, and The Hollywood Reporter.

Her own films have received recognition.  Balloon, her hand-drawn animated short, was in the 2010 Top 16 New York City Campus MovieFest Northern Regional Grand Finale.  Emma and Into the Woods, short narratives, were official selections of The Queens World Film Festival in 2013 and 2016 respectively.  She is a former co-leader of two NYC filmmaker’s collectives, Film Fatales NYC Shorts and the The Filmshop.

Upcoming projects include her horror vengeance, family drama, feature film Mother and an over-the-top comedy about her corgi’s rise to fame, For the Love of Domo.

Victoria negri - producer

Victoria Negri attended NYU's Tisch School of the Arts for Drama and is now a working writer/director/producer/actress. Her feature directorial debut, Gold Star, in which she wrote, directed, produced, and starred in, alongside Oscar nominated actor Robert Vaughn is premiering at the Buffalo International Film Festival October 2016 as the Opening Night film. Gold Star was selected by Big Vision Empty Wallet as an Inaugural Kickstart Diversity Film and participated in their prestigious Distribution Lab this past June. Additionally, Victoria has produced and assistant directed numerous short films, music videos and web series featured at the Queens World Festival, NY WebFest, IndieWorks, Katra Film Series. She has acted in award-winning features, shorts and web series featured at the: Cinequest Film Festival, Coney Island Film Festival, Clermont-Ferrand, and Tribeca. Recently, Victoria performed voiceover for BRIC’s “Does Your Hotel Know” campaign which was featured on Upworthy and nominated for a New York Emmy. She is a proud member of IFP, The Film Fatales, NYWIFT and The FilmShop.

don downie - cinematographer

A native of Detroit and a self-taught filmmaker, Don Downie first picked up a camera in 2004 — within a year, he was working professionally in TV, eventually racking up credits on shows such as Saturday Night Live, The Biggest Loser, CHOPPED, Innovation Nation, and Nat Geo’s Brain Games. Don launched his directing career with the creation of the ground-breaking web series podOpera Brooklyn, and the pilot Exit Strategy for TeenNick.

Recently, Don wrote and directed the award-winning short Pepper and the Salt Sea, a magical realism film about a photographer and a mermaid in post-Sandy Brooklyn. He served as cinematographer for the feature film Wedgerino, an offbeat comedy about the perils of friendship. Upcoming projects include the short sex comedy Le Creuset (writer / director), the web series Royally (director) and the short film Sundogs (cinematographer).

Don is currently in development for two feature films with his production company Small Media Extra Large, which he and his partners founded in 2008.

Jessica kostelnick - production designer

Jessica Kostelnick is a production designing, art directing, ceramic molding, illustrating, problem solving, shameless punster. She takes each day of life by the horns and creates something new from it. Designing spaces, creating connections to environments and objects keep her young. Currently Jessica is an artist resident at Hunter College, she plays drums in a indie metal band called Pancakes and sells her ceramic wares at 

Jess paid way too much money for a degree no one has ever asked to see, but it validates a love and dedication to studio/fine art and design.  Mrs. Kostelnick has worked on several indie films and is currently a freelance production designer and taking any jobs that speak to her creativity.

gene back - composer

“Multitalented Gene Back on violin, guitar, keyboards, or whatever else…” (LA Weekly) is a multi-instrumentalist and composer from New York.

He composes for major music production companies and creative media agencies serving international commercial brands. From classical string quartets to electro-pop tracks, his work has led to several film scoring projects, cutting edge multimedia collaborations, and a new musical, "Burning Man: The Musical" which is currently in development.

Previously, Back was a member of the critically acclaimed group, Zammuto, and a touring member of The Books. He is featured on numerous records, from Zammuto to Talib Kweli, and has toured internationally with major bands since 2008.
